Capital tots thoughts:

The main problem here is the queue and the cost. Yes it’s an amazing thing to do, and yes it has some wonderful views of London, but for little ones for whom the world is one big amazing view, I’m not sure it’s ideal. We had much more fun wandering along the South Bank looking at the performers and magicians which is free and much more relaxing.

Eating:

The best thing to do is walk east along the river to the South Bank Centre (10 mins) where there are loads of child-friendly food options including Giraffe (my personal favourite) and Strada.

Make a day of it by:

Visiting The Aquarium which is just next door or walking east along the river to the South Bank Centre - toddlers will love looking at the human statues, dancers, jugglers and entertainers who peddle their wares along the Thames so be prepared for it to take longer than expected to get there.
